About Us

Located in Melbourne’s South East, Dandenong Gospel Hall was established in 1954 when brethren were led of the Lord to commence a work in Melbourne’s growing ‘second city’. The building on the present site was completed in 1961.

God has blessed us with a cross section of ages, backgrounds and nationalities and together we seek to honour God and be faithful to His word. Weekly activities include the Lord’s Supper, Prayer, Bible Teaching and Gospel preaching. A children’s and youth ministry runs during school terms.

The assembly has begun a work in Pakenham, another suburb in the South East with one of Australia’s highest rates of population growth. Many young families are moving to this locality and we have a weekly youth work and fortnightly Gospel meetings.

We welcome visitors and appreciate letters of commendation. In accordance with Scripture, head covering is worn by sisters and public participation in meetings is the responsibility of the brethren.

1 Samuel 7:12

…thus far the LORD has helped us."

 Ephesians 1:12

“That we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.”
